Each senior we shoot, we feel like we make a connection and really create some great relationships in the time we spend with them. We become a family who cheers them on as they endure their senior year.
But this senior session was different. We not only spent a few hours with her, but we were there at the hospital when she entered the world, babysat for her, and she was one of our flower girls.
Emma started her session days before her shoot and began her time at Tatum's Place Boutique. If you didn't know, we began working with them to bring our senior girls the best experience! Emma took advantage of this and arrived in a mocha and white sweater with more of an abstract design. It had dolman sleeves which gave her a cozy look and it really made her look stunning! We changed scenery and Emma's next outfit was a beautiful navy crewneck with dolman sleeves with a cinched elastic waistband. The ruffles at the hem gave the shirt more of a boho feel for Emma. Her wardrobe color tones complimented her hair and skin so well from the beginning to the end of her session.
Our last stop of the evening took us to one of our favorite pieces of architecture. The setting is absolutely breathtaking and you could really see Emma begin to take in her surroundings and savor the moment. The sunset lit the sky on fire and cast a glow behind her. As the sun settled into the horizon, she began to twirl into the night sky. It was in these moments we reflected on all of our memories with Emma and realized she was no longer our little flower girl, but our little flower girl all grown up!
