Celeste, her brother, Adam, and his family decided a month or so ago to travel back to their childhood home to visit their parents, Allan and Nancy.  During this time, they decided to schedule a session with us, and of course, there is no way of telling what the weather would be like for their session day.   As the day inched closer, the percentage of rain became larger and even more so at start time!

I made a phone call to Celeste as I watch the puddles grow larger and larger on the side walk and the leaves becoming dripping wet outside my window as we are 20 minutes from go time!  Making the call to the house 4 miles away, I thought surely we are going to have to postpone. However, I hear her say, "It's not raining here!"

As I pulled into the drive, it  was BONE DRY!  Not a drop had fallen at their place!

The gray skies that lingered overhead created beautiful light for their family session, and their stunning yellow home made for the most gorgeous backdrop!  Allan and Nancy knew exactly what images they desired and we were able to move quickly as to beat any rain that may be moving in.  While at their house, I was able to capture some wonderful smiles from the little princess who gives the best twirls, the smallest dragon slayer this side of the country, and the fastest boy in all of second grade!

Within 45 minutes the rain let loose, but we were able to capture some stunning images and beautiful memories!

Thanks for allowing me to come and capture your precious family time!

That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
